When the baby is born, they have to wait a few months to know if she can hear or not. Ángela can’t help feeling bouts of jealousy and insecurity. She’s not sure whether she would like her child to be hearing or Deaf. Héctor is almost certain that the child will be able to hear. A dangerous rift begins to grow between them. Director Eva Libertad expanded her Goya-nominated short film of the same name, and together with magnificent actress Miriam Garlo, her sister in real life, she portrays with simplicity and poignant authenticity the daily life of a first-time mother, raising a daughter in a world of sounds.
