New Spanish Cinema

About the festival

New Spanish Cinema is a West Coast film festival celebrating contemporary Spanish cinema in Canada. From January 9 to 14, Vancouver will host screenings of acclaimed films and special cultural events that highlight Spain’s cinematic talent and innovative storytelling.

Festival Highlights

The festival is presented by Iberoamerican Images and the Vancouver International Film Festival, coordinated by Cristina Serrano, Javier Muñoz Venegas, and Víctor Martínez, in collaboration with Tom Charity, director and programmer of VIFF. Supported by local brands the event brings unique cultural experience.
